Who am I?

My name is Gabriela Britos, and I live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

I started working at the Hilton hotel. It was there that I gained my first experience in the hospitality industry. Being in a 5-star hotel taught me a lot of soft skills, as well as how the hospitality business works. Working at the hotel was sometimes exhausting, especially during events and high season, but I gained valuable experience, soft skills and grew personally as well.

Currently, I am the e-commerce manager for a company that sells and produces wellness products. In the beginning, I managed the website, improved the SEO, made translations and connected the data bases with various marketplaces. Managing an online store's entire database, including product descriptions, stock, and a large catalog of products in three different languages, was one of my biggest challenges.

Having worked for a family company, I have been able to work in a variety of departments, including the marketing department, where I developed and improved email campaigns, built content for the blog, created the social media plan, and automated and/or managed Google AdWords and Google Shopping campaigns.

The marketing world and e-commerce are two areas in which I am passionate, as well as keeping up to date with new products and technologies available. My key to success was to never stop learning.
